Dimitar Rizov aka HyperTech first started listening to jungle/drum`n`bass in the beginning of 1998. At that time he didn`t know anything about electronic music, or DJing really, just had a demo version of PCDJ (a PC mixing program) and started messing around with jungle tunes that he found on the internet.
At the end of 2000 he joint his forces with his mate DJ Inox and soon after that they organized a serial drum`n`bass parties in some smaller, but very influential clubs for the scene.
At the end of 2002 he got really involved into DJing, soon started to get resident nights almost in all major clubs in Skopje and Macedonia and gained his real place in the macedonian drum`n`bass scene. He shared the decks with artists, such as: DJ Storm (Metalheadz, UK), Paul B (Step2Zero/DSCI4, Russia), Vicious Circle (Renegade Hardware, UK), Technical Itch (Tech Freaks/Moving Shadow, UK), JFB (Hospital Rec/Vestax DMC World Champion 2003, UK), General Midi (Distinctive Records, UK) Raggamuffin Whiteman (Yard Style FM, Belgium), among others.
He played abroad in: Bosnia & Herzegovina (Sarajevo at the Drum`n`Bass Seminar), Romania (Bucharest at club Jukebox and at Synthplants Ekzit 2005 & 2006), Bulgaria (Sofia at HMSU Open Air Festival 2006 and Varna at Bar More) and Serbia (at 2004 Exit Summer Festival in Novi Sad). In June 2004 along with Darko Stepic and few other friends formed a promoting/DJ organisation - D2. Shortly after that, the D2 collective had its first party with Paul B and after that followed gigs with DJ Storm, Raggamuffin Whiteman, Vicious Circle and JFB.
In the next period, D2 plans to promote various drum`n`bass artists to the macedonian audience. At the moment he also works as a radio DJ, alongside Darko Stepic he hosts the only drum and bass radio show in Macedonia - `Tecna Kujna` [Liquid Kitchen] every Saturday from 8-10 PM [GMT+2] on Kanal 103 Radio. For details and live streaming visit: www.kanal103.com.mk His style is best described as frenetic but warm future funk. His future plan is to spread his vibe on the dancefloors at home and abroad, and maybe get into production.
